I have always heard that there is a fine line between the artist and the man, and indeed, this is true for this artist. Pedro is an artist through and through, and it has been an enormous privilege to watch him grow as an artist, to see his work increasingly align with the essence of man and what humanity should be. An artist is all the better when what they create seems simple and accessible in the eyes of others. And perhaps this is one of the characteristics of Pedro's work: in its simplicity, it manages to evoke the most complex aspects of ourselves, even if we often do not want to see or admit it.
